What grain bullets are y'all usually using

75 gr amax in a 9 twist

Mine loves the 55 gr ballistic tips

55 grains

45 gr JHP. Winchester white box ammo. (1 : 12 twist barrel)

But if you got a fast twist barrel, heavier bullets are your friends.

My favorite bullet was the Sierra 53 gr. Boat tail Hollow Point for Groundhog shooting and the most accurate load for my rifle. All loaded with 4895 powder. 60 gr pointed soft point I used for bigger game.

Mine likes 50 and 55 grain Berger flat base hollow points, but like others mentioned with a faster twist you might want to try something heavier.

I’m getting 4000 fps with the 50 grain. If you want load data on the 50 or 55 grain Bergers let me know.

Mine likes light bullets from 35 to 50 grains. Mine is a 1 /12 twist rate

I'm shooting a 22-250 AI with a 14 twist shooting 50 gr Sierra Blitzking. And it shoots tiny little groups.

Man I don't even know what I'm running, I inherited a Savage 110 from my father and a box of Remington 50 grain lock tights or something to that effect. Works great on the broad side of a beaver, taken four with it this year. Not sure it actually likes this ammo I feel like it doesn't always hit where it's meant to, I need to set up a proper target at the range and test it out more.

Same ammo but my rifle (Tikka T3 lite) is 1:9 I believe.

50gr -55gr Keep down around 3600fps or slightly more.
I use some 40gr also. Not as accurate and shorter range, but more fur friendly.

50 to 55 grain is my go too. But have had good luck with the 45s as well. Long as they shoot well, I don’t think there is a bad choice.

winchester 55 gr psp seem to work great out of my savage 110 can shoot nails@50yds and have no problem knocking down coyotes out to 500 i also like nosler 55 gr psp for my reloads
