Heard on the local news this morning that 100% of republicans in MN have authored a bill that would do away with the concealed carry flee rather than fight law. Democrats control the house and senate and are expected to oppose it. It states that if you are in danger of not seeing your next birthday, you would have the right to defend yourself. The current law says you must flee instead. If it somehow passed, governor goofy would veto it.Democrats don't control the House, right now Republicans do 67-66. After the special election Tuesday it likely will be 67-67.

There isnt one. A tie is better than Democrat control for Trappers by a long shot. For the first time in years there's not a single anti-trapping bill in the Minnesota House of Representatives. At least not yet

At least not yetThe lieutenant governor is the tie breaker, but that's in the senate only. However, even if the bill would pass Tampon Tim will veto it.
If removing guns saves just one life it's worth it. Then if deporting illegals saves one life is that worth it?

Minnesota. The ONLY State in the USA that has MONEY in the Bank. Thanks, Tim! Not for long. Somehow we are going to manage to go from a 17.5 billion surplus to deficits in a matter of a few years. What's with all the Politics with Trapper7 and Big Bob? You can't hardly read a post without the 2 of them Bad Mouthing Minnesota! If you are indeed a trapper, you should understand how hard we have had to fight the Democrats these past years to keep what we have. Also I am very thankful my daughters are out of school and don't have to contend with boys in their sporting arena.

While the Castle Doctrine has always been considered an inherent right in PA, there were always many local laws calling for a duty to retreat. If you had enough time and money you would generally prevail in court but many that had neither were prosecuted and jailed.
It was codified as part of our Stand Your Ground law in 2011.
I am surprised with your Dem Governor and the PA House controlled by the Dems, they haven't tried to go after your gun rights. If they get the State Senate, I would guess PA gun owners are going to be in trouble.

It’s always nice when people in your communities show you which side of the line they stand on. I always want to know who has my back when the time comes and who is looking to drive a knife in.. political leanings aside, on this site who willingly voted for tampon Tim is not an outdoorsman and may as well not even pretend to be one. Policies matter and NONE of his is good for trappers, hunters, or fisherman. Let that sink in…. And before you pipe in, 80% of my family is from and has recently left, or is still stuck there awaiting their time to get out as well.
