On the topic of PM'ing people if you think there's a problem... Once on Ebay soneone was selling a pile of "gun parts" that included a frame from a revolver. Under federal law, the serial numbered frame is the part that is a "gun". Its the same as selling a complete gun. So I PM'd him a an explanation of the law and that he was about to ship a gun to someone without the proper paperwork. and being on ebay the transaction was public for all to see. We exchanged a couple rounds of messages. He was extremely grateful. He promptly deleted the listing.
