I'm sure this has been asked & answered multiple times:
has anyone ever used press board (siding type) for their beaver boards?
I have some scrap 5/8" & 3/4" that are roughly 4'x4' give or take . . .
Thanks for your input!

If I give everything ~ is it enough?

Yep, they’ll do. They just don’t last as long.

They will work but won't last very long.

I use both. The 5\8 won't last as long as 3\4. But it works for a while. If there is no other use for it, use it.

I'd rub them down with the old can Turtle wax car polish so they won't swell up with any moisture from either the beaver pelts or just because , I also treat my wooden coyote stretchers and fleshing beam so the moisture rolls off in a hurry .

I used an air brad nail gun. But they don't last as long as regular plywood.

It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.

I have used just about everything including used t-1-11 exterior repurposed skirting, but I prefer 3/4” plywood and 6pp smooth box nails for tacking up….
