Coastal bobcat average not looking good for beaverpeeler. Beaver is down. Maybe peeler should switch to otter trapping only ?

I actually thought that was a good price for coastal cats, and I would say it was a poor price for otter, but there were a bunch of very blue (black looking leather) otter there and some poorly put up ones. I figured skunks would maybe do better, there were a bunch of nicely done skunks. And the wolf prices floor me, I looked at the wolves there and as a fur buyer there were two I wouldn't even have bid on, and a third I wouldn't have gave more than 50-75 for.

Overall I would say they did good for the size of sale and number of buyers. George must have a market for coyotes, he bought a bunch at Glenns Ferry for a lot better prices than they have been going for at any other sale, and it looks like he did the same here.

Tryin to offer a little advice grin Plus I just think running an otter line would be cool. We don't have many here and always though it would be fun to do it. If I ever do I will skun them and bring them to Oregon for you to put up. Lots of work and you do a nice job.

I got another trapper that took over many or most of my good otter streams. Tidewater streams in Oregon can't support two heavy-duty otter trappers working them so I had to cede my otter trapping there to the other guy.
