She done decided to take up residence in my old shed . Not sure how she keeps getting out , past jumping the cattle gap but every few hours I look out and see this

Also....found out she really don't like coyotes. Was about fooling around with my fox pro and she cam running yo stomping and blowing looking like she was ready to fight ...so that's neat lol

Ha, you got yourself a permanent friend Wolfy, lol.

Might as well make her a stall in there.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

grin Like was mentioned, she likes it in there. Considering her instant reaction to predators, like a coyote, that shelter guards her from almost all sides except the direction she is facing.

Smart girl.

If you can, clearing out part of that area so she won't step on something or hurt herself would help her state of mind. Sometime, building a shed similar to the one she likes now could have her happy and you with your shed . Cattle gap- meaning a cattle grate in the ground ?

Sounds like she has had experience with coyotes , or the like. In the woods she would be a great alarm for you . She would sense anything in the bush that you couldn't see or hear as soon as you get close enough. And let you know .

I have always known exactly where something big or smaller is hidden , on the trails, the horses or mules always tell me. They stiffen and look right at the area, even when you can't see a thing.

I feel she can be a decent working help for the estate . If she can maneuver in that shed and turn around without snagging herself on something, that means she is also careful in where she steps.

Crowheart, winter rides can be fun ! Just be careful with heavy boots jammed in a small stirrup space ....you probably know that smile
