Lyme disease/ other tick borne disease. I lived with it for years till I was properly diagnosed by a LLMD, I had been to several regular doctors prior to that, they had no clue, their answer was anxiety medication, thank to God I kept searching for the real problem behind it.

If you have grandkids with ADHD give this a try, it helps with anxiety too. I take these an hour before I go to bed; two gummies, two melatonin, one lions mane, and one magnesium. (I take these at 7, go to bed at 8, and get up at 4) i.e. you don't want to take them late and get up early. Do that for a few weeks and see what you think. I didn’t, until I got hurt 3 years ago.. it’s a very long story, but I talked to my doctor about it and I got some medicine for it. I don’t like medication,, but it helps me considerably. I also try to remember Joshua 1:8-9. I will wholeheartedly believe that there was a reason I was seeing referrals to this several times a week.. it wasn’t just coincidence.

I never sweat things until later then it’s later so it’s not so bad. I had a tow truck driver ask me once, “don’t dead people bother you?” I told him you're either dead or alive I treat them both with respect that all I can do.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I'm 34 and have it really bad, I take medication and just started to see a professional about it. The medication, as much as I hate the idea of taking it, has helped immensely.
Us humans are not adapted to the constant feed of negative news, economic fallout, social media, excel spreadsheets, corporate ladder climbing, paying bills, taxes etc as much as we'd like to think.
You do know - you can limit the news, live below your means, turn social media off, don't climb the ladder, do pay your bills on time...........we control most of that - we have the ability to control most of our self-induced stress. | | |

My sister in law and wife both have suffered panic attacks. Now when they anticipate a trigger they take the Bach botanical “ Rescue” which seems to really work well for them. Fairly cheap too. About $14 on Amazon.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

only a few times in my life. Once when taking down all the equipment used building one of the smoke stacks I built. The stack tapered so I was outside the stack 10 to 12 feet and on a 6" pair of aluminum channels bolted back to back with lugs for the cables that held them up sandwiched in the middle. I had removed all the cable bracing and it was twisting back and forth a lot without any of the weight on it from lifting equipment. when I knocked the pin in the turn bucket loose it dropped a little maybe an inch but that and the twisting and being bouncy 640' above the ground and about 30mph wind I fought panic for a second. Had to breath deep calm down and tell myself one move at a time and focus in the simple moving right foot back left hand back ect.
That was my first time ever feeling panicked like that. In my minds eye I saw myself pitch off to the right heading for the ground.

BUT also had two other times with a similar panicked feeling just being in confined spaces in the last 3 years. One slow hot elevator at the state fare in indy and the other time in a maze at the city museum in St Louis. I had never had issues in small spaces before that in my life. But started at around 42.

Wife told me I have it when I'm thinking on things a lot. Do I? It's not something that causes me issues I don't "think" But then again when I can't sleep and my brain wont shut down maybe thats what that is called and thee are just different levels?
