I do think it likely that Henry Sinclair, Earl of Orkney did come to America, long before Columbus. Roslyn Chapel, built by his grandson, does show what appears to be Native American plants, such as corn. His ancestors and descendants are some of the best sea captains, admirals, secretaries of the Navy and Naval comptrollers to ever exist. At least 18 of his descendants were admirals, or higher, in the British Navy. His ancestors include most of the famous Vikings.

Many of his ancestors were Nights Templar, including the King of Jerusalem, Godfrey of Bouillon, who was supposed to have the Holy Grail.

Henry Sinclair is also my 20th great-grandfather, a large number of times.

Been watching it from the beginning also.
"One more must die before the treasure can be found "
How many of us will be around to see it?

I think so too. Found by that black man who lived on that one lot. He was poor and suddenly came into some money according to the history. Don't recall his name.

Why would someone bury a treasure hundreds of feet deep? Didn't they ever plan to reclaim it? Makes no sense. I quit watching it a couple years ago.

This is is my firm belief

I can't picture someone paving a swamp with cobblestones that supposedly lead to where the treasure was buried and then figure that it was some kind of secret that no one would figure out.

There was a reason for the tunneling, a mine to get some kind of mineral, a special clay or something like that. The cobblestone roads was how they got the loads of what ever it was pulled to a pier where it could be loaded on ship. I notice that they aren't finding ox shoes all over the place anymore, odd. And, you have to do a lot of convincing to get me to believe that a guy could look at a couple of scraps of leather boots and firmly say that the boots were military and from the 1600's. Ain't buying it.

Wood that has been in salt water and then is carbon dated gives a false reading. Salt water makes the wood register older than it really is.

Its a TV show. TV is entertainment. Its not really reality even if its a reality show. Some of you need to turn yours off for a few years.

I read the same article in Readers Digest when I was a kid. I recall thinking at the time..."I bet I could find that!"

The narrator is too much for me.

" A RUSTY NAIL FOUND UNDER GROUND?????????" A PIECE OF WOOD WITH AN AX MARK ON IT????"
