Want to get your bloodwork done......an ultrasound, a colonoscopy, an EKG......?
Go try getting that done without going to a major hospital to get referrals first. We really are sheep. If you have to go to a .major hospital to get a reference for blood work or a colonoscopy, you need a different doctor. Or a different insurance company.

Go try getting that done without going to a major hospital to get referrals first. We really are sheep. Blood work is basically a car check up,,,,, It indicates any possible problems….. EKG is a check on the engine of the car But probe is checking the exhaust…. I can send you the picture of the worm that was growing in there if ya want…… Dental health is also important….. My doctor is also my friend I go once a year for a check up now….started at age 55….. I have a Doctor like that too!

You can find a doctor you like and trust. I've gone to the same one for a lot of years, and if he were to tell me I need to see a specialist I'd believe him. Stop it. There is no room for that type of common sense thinking on here.

Trusting a for profit organization to do what is best for you is not a viable option.
So much has changed about cholesterol and what is "acceptable". ACTUAL information about cholesterol and how 85% is produced by your own liver is out there but the for-profit medical industry chooses to ignore it. Wanna know why?
Statins are the highest profit margin drug out there. Acceptable levels of cholesterol in the 60s-70s was 250-260. Now it's 180. Wonder why?
Cholesterol is REQUIRED by your body for multiple functions. It's why your own body produces so much of it.
So why, if cholesterol is high and liver function is normal, do doctors prescribe statins? Easy!!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I don't trust anything about the health care system now. They did it to themselves by being beholden to government, insurance and pharmaceutical funding. It has next to nothing to do with "health care" anymore. I do my own research and take care of myself through activity and diet. Take care of yourselves naturally.
People amaze me at how many drugs they are willing to take when what is really needed is to put the tennis shoes on and put the fork down. I feel like I'm replying to a 6th grader. Almost nothing in your post is true. Doctors make exactly 0 dollars on statins. Statins are sold by pharmacists, who make money on them. And most statins are generic, and can be purchased for a few dollars per month. They of course are NOT the highest profit drugs out there and in fact have a very low profit margin. And 75% of your cholesterol is not made by the liver- almost 100% is. The "medical industry chooses to ignore it" is also a false statement. And your cholesterol numbers are way off. An acceptable LDL cholesterol for most people is < 100, lower if you are diabetic or have heart disease. The reason why numbers change is because more information and research becomes available and the acceptable range have to be adjusted. Additionally, statins reduce inflammation in the lining of arteries, which in itself is a risk factor for heart attack and stroke. The only statement in your post that is accurate is that people need to put down the fork and put on tennis shoes. Please research from some place that is reliable and not some youtube crackpot, because frankly sir, you are embarrassing yourself and misleading the slow-minded.

Please research from some place that is reliable and not some youtube crackpot, because frankly sir, you are embarrassing yourself and misleading the slow-minded. Are you a doctor? Where do you get your information? Where should I since no one on the internet is reliable? Google "how much cholesterol does your liver produce". I was wrong. It's 80%. Google " cholesterol healing arterial walls". Cholesterol is necessary for healing. Cholesterol is 100% necessary for testosterone. If you don't have cholesterol, you don't have testosterone. Now why would more men than ever have low T and the medical industry practically ignore it? One of my best friends is a pharma rep. If you don't think pharmacy pays docs indirectly you sir are ill informed. And for your reading pleasure: https://pharmtales.com/lipitor-the-most-profitable-drug-in-pharmaceutical-history/But I am sure all my information is wrong and from some kook website and yours is 100% legit. I am just a 6th grade idiot. Learn to use a computer to your advantage. Maybe you will make it to 7th grade.
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?
