You first Blaine. Whats your plan to prevent a dollar crash by lowering the debt? His plan is status quo. The debt can't be reduced with our pain. Actually, if you read his positions, he wants to drastically cut Federal spending. Not impound it, cut it.
Who is John Galt?

Don't know if it's true or not, but I read recently that all the projected savings from DOGE's recent firings equals one day of interest on our national debt.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I would expect that from JP Morgan trump haters. If that’s the case why are all these countries that Trump has placed reciprocal tariffs on not in recession because of their tariffs ? Or are they ? And if they are, why are they putting themselves in a recession ?

The only chance is to increase gdp,, the trick is to do it through growth not created by QE

I dont remember any executive orders Carter did. I do remember on his first day in office he pardoned the draft dodgers. I remember 18% inflation. Hard to find Gas. Enormous unemployment. Ridiculous interest rates. Considered going back in the military. Had my first kid. Was pretty broke. Thankfully class A license was easy to get back then and I had been around trucks some before I enlisted in the Air Force. It was bad economic wise. Trapping barely kept my head above water. Was real close to applying for food stamps. Ate a lot of venison potatoes and pinto beans.

Didn't we just suffer thru 4 years of stagflation because of spending trillions and receiving nothing in return?
