I'm waiting for a big fire sale

I didn't realize KTM had that much inventory.

I've been watching numbers for the car manufacturers. A lot of them are bloated with inventory. In the trade it is called 'days of inventory ' in other words , if they stopped making them they would have X amount of vehicles to sell for Y amount of days.

Lots of vehicles are at 100 days of inventory, plenty at 200 days , some at 300 or even 400+ days.
This is why you can still find a few brand new 2023 models sitting on dealership property for sale. It is called ' lot rot '.
Vehicles with dead batteries, low tires and slightly rusted brake rotors from just sitting.

Popular , in demand cars that are selling quick have 40-60 days of inventory.

The power sports industry is in trouble. Same inventory problems with most snow machines, they’re trying to advertise for 2026 models and they still have new 2023’s and 2024’s

Lol...ILcooner , I gotta laugh , on the list you posted , the slowest selling cars , first gasoline powered one is the Dodge Hornet.

Nobody wants one. Sales are horrible. It is a rebadged Alfa-Romeo.

They can't even give them away. Literally.
There was one or a couple of dealerships out west that would give you a free Dodge Hornet if you bought one of their $100k Ram pickups. They didn't move too many units.

It's not just dodge Corey. All the manufacturers have excessively large inventories.

The football player was wanting a new truck. We looked at a f150. My buddy had purchased the same truck a year ago. Football player could have bought it for 12k less than my buddy. Same truck!

The carmakers have been in trouble for awhile just been doing a good job of hiding it.

Pretty easy to see when they are offering 10 to 15gs off. No need for that if stuff is selling.

Rat, another buddy of mine just purchased a brand new snowmobile today. It was a 2024, they wanted 15100 for it in December, and it was a 1 year carryover then. 13,100 bought it today. In December of 23 it probably listed at 16,500 give or take.

I remember a guy that sold Yugo's .

When Yugo's went under he went to selling boats and you'd get a free Yugo from his old stock if you bought a boat worth over 15k.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
