I hope you have better success with them than I did, I bought a brick to try as they were cheap. The ones I bought were extremely dirty, think black powder fouling dirty, not accurate, and had a lot of failures to fire. After a couple boxes I just gave the rest of them away. Now this was back during the last great 22 shortage so maybe their quality control has improved now.

I expect as long as there is not another shooting ammo prices will be getting better across the board. It's going to be time to plan ahead and stock up for the next shortages we know will come.

I'm talking more than a few extra boxes more enough to last your kids and grandkids lives if you can swing it. It generally goes up in value and in a bind you can sell it at a good profit during a panic, trade it, protect and feed yourself with it.

But few will pay attention and many will get mad during the next panic and call me a hoarder. When I have a ton of what they can't get. Never wanting to admit they had the same opportunity to buy it cheap and stack it deep but chose to spend their money on other things at the time.

Hoarding has a bad connotation now from all the shows showing people who have filled their homes, with unorganized, worthless junk, creating a hazard. There's nothing wrong with having what you will likely actually need, or collecting items of value, like ammunition, that will at least maintain their value and will likely increase in value.

Yes, having that plumbing stuff is hoarding until that pipe decides to bust in the middle of the night and you go to your cache of supplies retrieve what you need and fix it. Then all of a sudden, your hoard of junk becomes wise preplanning for an unplanned event in the wife's eyes.

Wise man and must be organized as well. I save things and can't remember what I did with them when I need them. Then find whatever it was a week or so later after I bought new and fixed the problem.

No, unfortunately I am not very organized in the traditional sense, I am a piler. This pile of stuff is plumbing, this pile is electrical, this pile is hardware and fasteners and so on so sometimes it takes a minute to find what I am looking for but at least I know where to dig smile
