Supported American manufacturing and picked up a new 410 just in time for turkey season. Haven't seen much posted online about the Henry turkey shotguns. Looking forward to putting it through the paces

Didn't know those existed. Good looking gun. Keep is updated on it, I'd be interested in how it patterns.

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

don't set it down and walk off may be hard to find. Not that the boys have had an o crap moment like that when looking for blood tracking deer. or anything.

Did you get a shot shell loading set up to go with it?

I, too, have been doing my best to help support American workers.

I like that shotgun. It may end up being next on the list.

I had to take my dog to find one that had been laid down and walked off from on a windy day in the fall with the leaves dropping, it was found about 30 yards from where he thought it was, funny thing is he was telling me I needed to call the dog back when she started over that way then in just a minute she had it, so yes if you set anything down in the woods pay attention to where you left it.

Hey coondagger how hard is it to load for shotgun? Is it expensive to get started? I was talking to my cousin about maybe trying to load for our 410’s yesterday. Eric

Eric, it’s not too bad. If you want to start out and not spend a whole lot you can roll crimp your shells instead of fold crimping. With roll crimping all you need is the roll crimp head in a drill press. Then you just need the components of the shell and a scale to weigh your powder and shot. Pretty simple doing it that way

Lee Load all for 410 will pay for itself in a few boxes of shells these days. Very simple to use and best one in my opinion to load as least amount of supplies needed vs cost of box new

Red dot is mounted. Hope to get it dialed in tomorrow and see how this thing shoots.
