Thers nothing wrong with stay at home moms...AND, theres nothing wrong with hard working moms that work away from home...The hard working moms, that work away from the home are inarguably likely to have less successful children. It's a proven, indisputable fact. I doubt there is a single study showing the children of working mom's do better. There are thousands of studies showing they don't. That doesn't mean all children of working moms will turn out poorly, but the children of working moms are much more likely to turn out poorly, than the children of moms who stay home with their children. Thers nothing wrong with stay at home moms...AND, theres nothing wrong with hard working moms that work away from home...Exactly. No two families are the same, and they need to do what works for them.

Rhonda has done this for the past 54 years. It has been her calling. She was also 19 when she started her career as a housewife and a mother at 24 years old..Rachel was 20 when we married 22 when daughter number 1 of 6 was born. We where blessed that she could stay home when needed. When working at home or a job she always worked her butt off. Home support for a spouse or child is no small thing!

A friend of mine went to marriage counseling. Luckily it worked for them. He told me the counselor called him a traditional man. I had the feeling she didn't mean it as a compliment. Most of them marriage councelors are divorcees,,but their gonna tell you what YOU should do.What a joke.

Keith I just searched 'do kids of working moms do better' based on Keith's above statements. I found plenty of articles and research to suggest they actually do. As Trapdog mentioned above, each family is different.

four different groups of women.
1) career with no kids
2) career and kids
3) no career and no kids
4) no career and kids.

Number 4 was the happiest,

number 1 the least. [/quote[quote=JoMiBru]You believe these “studies” ?! Lol not me.

“Studies show...” I call bs
Most studies show what the author wants them to. Plain and simple.

Thanks. The first article says: "In 2015, preliminary results of a groundbreaking study found that the daughters of employed mothers often perform better in their eventual careers than the daughters of stay-at-home moms. Now the full study has been released, and it brings even more good news for the children of working moms: They wind up just as happy in adulthood as the children of moms who stayed home. Harvard Business School Professor Kathleen McGinn hopes the findings bring a big sigh of relief for guilt-ridden mothers who either have to hold down a job to make ends meet or simply choose to work outside the home while raising their children. “People still have this belief that when moms are employed, it’s somehow detrimental to their children,” says McGinn, the Cahners-Rabb Professor of Business Administration. “So our finding that maternal employment doesn’t affect kids’ happiness in adulthood is really important.”" The reason that is "groundbreaking" is that other studies have never found that. "Often" as it relates to daughters doesn't even mean usually and boys obviously didn't even do that well. The second article is based on that same study that didn't find that it's usually better for the moms to work for girls and found it's usually worse for boys The third article is also based on that same study that didn't find that it's usually better for the moms to work for girls and found it's usually worse for boys. You proved my point. Keith
