I don’t need to drink I can be whatever I need to be sober with less regrets it just never appealed to me. I’ve seen over the years the people and relationships it’s ruined with intelligent folks doing stupid things losing careers or dying it makes no sense. A LOT of folks try to reason away their problems with it in many ways just mention restrictions on their drinking to get their reactions it will surprise you.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

For years, the AMA has said that alcohol consumption at any level, not just heavy alcohol use or addictive alcohol use, is a modifiable risk factor for cancer. And yet, despite decades of compelling evidence of this connection, too many in the public remain unaware of alcohol’s risk. Today’s advisory, coupled with a push to update the Surgeon General’s health warning label on alcoholic beverages, will bolster awareness, improve health, and save lives.”

Now think about those that drink a 6 pack a day, two glasses of wine a day, or a shot or two a day. None of them are as healthy as those who do not drink.

Just live in reality.

That is a ridiculous statement. Also,,you seem to feel that its only reality if it goes along with YOUR narrative. You sound like an Ex-Alcoholic.Preach,,preach,,,preach.

8m not a drinker but you put more poison in your body in things like the cereal and othe crap you buy at the grocery. Look up how when tested the amounts of round up and pesticide in foods. Then we can move on to all the real and fake sweeteners. Want to talk about being healthy your better served there than knocking the occasional drinkers.

If you really think there hasn't been a TON of families/marriages destroyed because of the Internet, then yes, you really are that naive.

bow hunter I don't know where you get I'm triggered. Don't hang up on one sentence and try to pretend you don't have negative connotation in the rest of book you try to Wright.

First thing that pop up on Google
Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease:
Some studies suggest that moderate alcohol consumption may increase HDL cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol), lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of blood clots, potentially lowering the risk of heart disease.
Reduced risk of type 2 diabetes:
Moderate alcohol consumption may help improve insulin sensitivity, potentially reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Possible link to lower mortality rates:
Some studies have indicated that moderate drinkers may have lower mortality rates compared to abstainers or heavy drinkers.
Potential cognitive benefits:
Moderate alcohol consumption may be associated with a reduced risk of dementia or cognitive decline.
Improved stress and anxiety:
Moderate alcohol consumption may have a temporary stress-reducing effect, but this is not a long-term solution for anxiety or depression.

If you think the internet is one quarter as bad at destroying families and lives as alcohol has been, you really are that dumb.

I was illustrating how the comparison of internet usage and alcohol and how bad it is for your body was a very poor comparison.

But my opinion, as asked for by the OP of everyone, is wrong, naive and stupid. There, feel better Ang?

Admittedly alcohol has a couple thousand years head start on the internet, but as the internet becomes ever more popular and accessible worldwide, I’m sure it will catch up to alcohol. The amount of married guys on dating sites is probably astronomical lol

If we are talking about alcohols reach and the net it casts, it is much larger than the internet per capita. Hard to argue that one. This statement has zero to do with my statement of alcohol is the worst thing to put in your body though.

Again, no disrespect intended to you.

Sure theres not going to be a newsworthy story with your married guy or women on a dating/hookup site but the results of that can be as destructive as being involved in a drink driver accident. There's long tem consequences to everything.

I am ticked that people assume what my intent is even though I write it in all caps.

Spell assume.

And no one has proven that alcohol is good for you contrary to what I have been typing.

I dont know that anyone cares if it’s not good for a person. For those not abusing it, it relaxes and helps to unwind. Your first mistake is believing a shred of what is written by anyone with a medical degree. Theyre paid what to think and say. Your donut you hammered today is full of CRAP that you put in your body. YOU prove ME wrong on that. You cant. And I dont care if you do or try. This Pendleton is delicious btw.
