How many times do i have to type drink what you want as much as you want? Jeez man chug your wine. I don’t care. Just don’t tell me alcohol is good for you.

8m not a drinker but you put more poison in your body in things like the cereal and othe crap you buy at the grocery. Look up how when tested the amounts of round up and pesticide in foods. Then we can move on to all the real and fake sweeteners. Want to talk about being healthy your better served there than knocking the occasional drinkers.

Losing some steam huh?

Very few things give me more joy than ticking off a yankee. Especially one who is a condescending arse.

Alcohol isn't good for you is all I have stated. You have yet to show me ANY proof that alcohol is good for you except opinions and personal statements.

Perhaps you should go have your one glass of wine today. It will relieve your stress. Lower your bp. You know, make you healthier.

laugh laugh wink

You mean like the pesticides and fungicides used on hops and grapes and potatoes and agave? I guess the alcohol cancels that out, huh?

And cereal, gosh how awful!! Wonder how many children and adults have died due to consumption of Captain Crunch.

And the dreaded diet sodas!!! The debil is in those cans and bottles. Where does that rank in terms of unhealthy things to put in your body compared to alcohol?

All this time I have been citing facts. Why don't y'all show some facts to your arguments that alcohol is good for you so you can shut me up? I am all for dealing with the truth.

Are you?

And for goodness sake learn some reading skills. I am NOT knocking the occasional drinker, although I know very few. My statement throughout this thread is, here let me put in all caps so even you could understand.

ALCOHOL IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS YOU CAN PUT IN YOUR BODY. DRINK AS MUCH OF IT AS YOU WANT. I DON'T CARE.

Now genius, where in that statement did I knock any occasional drinker? I simply stated a fact. PROVE ME WRONG!!! YOU HAVE THE WHOLE INTERNET TO GO LOOKING.

FETCH!!

So the OP of this thread posted:

What is everyone’s view of alcohol and the Bible?

I was talking about this with my dad today and just wanted to pass the question to you all.

I guess my view is wrong and both pf and yuppie's views are correct. Pardon me. I shouldn't have expressed an opinion that is in contradiction to your correct views.

Forgive me. I did not mean to trigger either of you.

Now my question is why were either of you triggered by what I said? Hmmmmmm? Makes one wonder.

I did have a donut today. Raspberry filled. My son had a cinnamon roll. We had them after our turkey hunt.

Guess we are both gonna die.

If you really think there hasn't been a TON of families/marriages destroyed because of the Internet, then yes, you really are that naive.

If you think the internet is one quarter as bad at destroying families and lives as alcohol has been, you really are that dumb.

I was illustrating how the comparison of internet usage and alcohol and how bad it is for your body was a very poor comparison.

But my opinion, as asked for by the OP of everyone, is wrong, naive and stupid. There, feel better Ang?

bow hunter I don't know where you get I'm triggered. Don't hang up on one sentence and try to pretend you don't have negative connotation in the rest of book you try to Wright.

First thing that pop up on Google
Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease:
Some studies suggest that moderate alcohol consumption may increase HDL cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol), lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of blood clots, potentially lowering the risk of heart disease.
Reduced risk of type 2 diabetes:
Moderate alcohol consumption may help improve insulin sensitivity, potentially reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Possible link to lower mortality rates:
Some studies have indicated that moderate drinkers may have lower mortality rates compared to abstainers or heavy drinkers.
Potential cognitive benefits:
Moderate alcohol consumption may be associated with a reduced risk of dementia or cognitive decline.
Improved stress and anxiety:
Moderate alcohol consumption may have a temporary stress-reducing effect, but this is not a long-term solution for anxiety or depression.

First, is it ok that I have a different opinion than you? How did you tell me your thoughts on my opinion?

Second, one words permeates all those reasons alcohol is good for you. I will let you figure that out.

Admittedly alcohol has a couple thousand years head start on the internet, but as the internet becomes ever more popular and accessible worldwide, I’m sure it will catch up to alcohol. The amount of married guys on dating sites is probably astronomical lol

Time will tell.

I don't see innocent bystanders getting hurt by a married man on a dating website though. Not being ugly, just being factual.

If we are talking about alcohols reach and the net it casts, it is much larger than the internet per capita. Hard to argue that one. This statement has zero to do with my statement of alcohol is the worst thing to put in your body though.

Again, no disrespect intended to you.

Sure theres not going to be a newsworthy story with your married guy or women on a dating/hookup site but the results of that can be as destructive as being involved in a drink driver accident. There's long tem consequences to everything.

But all I am talking about is how alcohol is bad for your body.

That's all. Nothing else.

Sadly, I have fallen prey to the same thing I tell a lot of people. This is not directed at you bb.

When arguing with idiots, eventually people will ask which one is the idiot.

So, drink up all you alcohol drinkers.

And don't drink at all to all of you who don't like alcohol or think it is the worst thing for your body.

And for goodness sake husky, quit asking people's opinions. laugh wink
