At our church we had a ham and turkey that was flown in, a 6 gallon stock pot of Mongolian Moose, Yupik fry bread, Eskimo ice cream, lemon moraine pie, gallons of sweet tea and coffee, lots of vegetables and casseroles.

That's how preachers get fat so easy, all the left overs after church dinner on the grounds. Thank God I've been able to talk all the folks into taking to go plates for tomorrow. One of my few goals in life is to stay the same size britches I graduated high school in.

Forever in debt to my Father who introduced me to trapping.
May I be half the man he was.

big pork butt cooked for 12 hours on 225, tore it to shreds and covered with my home made muscadine and mayhaw jelly BBQ sauce. 13 pound ham, tater salad, baked beans, pea salad. women folk made the sweets, i dont eat sweets so the real grub was my task. Had about 40 folks from our family over. Twas a great day for us. little ones running everywhere and having a hoot looking for plastic eggs. wife dressed up in the Easter bunny costume for the kiddos. Try to do my best to make it a great big event for our mom and dad. Dad just turned 88 and mom 85. Dont have many more holidays with them so we bust our butts to make each one a little better.

We had our daughter and her husband over. Played Yahtzee and five straight. Food was ham, cheesy potatoes, and a great broccoli salad. Dessert was coconut cream pie and key lime pie. Monday workout at the health club was tough.

It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.
