My dog is generally what I’d call a smart dog, he’s trainable and he problem solves for himself. But there is one lesson he’s repeated a couple times now, the first time I was worried about him bad, but he learns for a short while, then forgets what he learned. He finds my thrown out Copenhagen, eats it, and gets horrible sick. Today is the 3rd time he’s done it, he’s about 7 months old. I can’t figure out if he’s stupid, or just likes wintergreen and a turning gut

well it's a cure all too
It cures fits, warts, freckles,
Runny nose, coughs, colds
Guaranteed not to rip run or snag
Makes child birth a pleasure &
Conception a wonder!
That's Copenhagen!

When have you had a dog that would not eat whatever you are eating?

Maybe, your dog is trying to tell you something?

At least it won't get worms.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Some dogs are thick in the head I’m having a tough time getting mine to understand that she can’t mouth every cat she sees I’m hoping a strange cat will lay into her soon. The need to eat cat crap gets old also she’s only a little over 3 months old but a shock collars in her future if she won’t learn on her own.

She’s a gritty dog tough as they come fearless she hold her own against the wife’s golden doodle in the play fighting they go at it for long periods of time. She picked up on being house broken quickly for being a puppy so she’s not stupid.

My dog never rolls in anything rotten that he finds. Instead, he prefers to eat it. Then comes into the house and pucks it up.

It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.

Man, sounds like your dog’s got a nicotine problem and no memory. laugh Some pups just never learn certain lessons, especially when it smells interesting. Mine once ate a whole jalapeño off the counter and cried for like 20 minutes… still did it again a week later.

Dogs are like people, there's dumb ones and there's smart ones.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

If they weren't cute, I don't think we'd let half of them live. Those little eyes let em get away with murder.

Not bad, took my dog to the cabin yesterday. She found some fox scat under the snow, eat some of it and then decided to roll in the rest of it.

The frustrating part is he isn’t entirely stupid, he’s actually pretty smart when it comes to most things, he just won’t quit eating Copenhagen. But neither will I, so I can’t blame him, the difference being it hasn’t made me throw up since I was about 14. I’m glad he’s not that slow at learning everything, or he’d have got himself killed going to work with me already

Well, if you'd give him a pinch under his lip regularly maybe he'd get use to it. Probably have to get him a hickory shirt too so he would have a pocket to put his can of snus in.

Your dog is fine, just a dog being a dog.

Lol.

I recommend switching him over to Copenhagen straight, fine cut.

That’ll learn him. lol
