The way he works always makes me smile so big and so thankful to be a man of faith in him. Short story, first week of march I wanted to buy a pair of #3 victor coil springs because they have stopped making traps for now. Thought that I found a place that had them so I placed an order online and the guy called me and apologized said he had not updated his web site and said he didnt have them. Change my order to some MB550 and left it at that. Today the wife and I were at antique alley which is twice a year, second place we stopped I found 2 #3 victor coil spring traps still with store tags on them. Gave the lady 20 dollars and had a tear in my eye cause I knew God had put them there for me. The way he works is truly amazing. God bless us all

I am a man of faith; however, I also believe He has his hands full at the moment. I also believe in luck, and think you simply got lucky finding a pair of traps, don't you?

Just doing what I want now.

canebrake: I am simply suggesting that while i believe He has his hand in all things, I have my doubts that He is instrumental in whether or not someone finds a trap that one wants, or not.
Not to suggest He prioritizes one thing or event over another, I do believe that many outcomes are dependent entirely on our own actions, thoughts, and/or plain old luck.
It's the only way I can reconcile some terrible things that happen to good people.

Saying “God has his hands full” suggests he has limits.

Believe what you want but if he has his hand in all things, then that means he is instrumental in helping somebody find something he wants. If God is in charge then there is no such thing as luck.

So......every single thing that happrns in the world, from whether you have waffles or pancakes for breakfast, to a drunk driver killing an innocent pedestrian, is all determined by God?
In that case, there should be no accountability for anything at all, right? God did it.

And as an aside I agree witht. Lt. Grey. This is a topic for the main forum. My apologies for taking the thread off-topic.

Rev, Josh McPherson on why God allows bad things to happen to good people [paraphrased]...

'I always ask them why God allows anything good to happen to sinners. The answer is: He loves us deeply anyway.'
