Did a lot of night crawling when I was a wee Lad.

Did you catch any having sex ??

We would grab them in the middle....put up gently and get 2 crawlers at once

Just got back from crawler picking here too. Not sure how many I got, probably a good ten dozen. Saw the local bait shop is selling for $5.69/dozen! Now to make time to fish! Happy trapping! ScottW

Best night crawler picking with my younger cousin---- 7,000. Golf courses were a great place to pick--- also lot of weird things seen in the middle of the night on a golf course

ElSmasho, I just couldnt help myself. you must remember, Savell and I trapped a lot of ground for a good many years. So, some of his wit has rubbed off on me but not the golf aspect.

Roads between fields are my go-to when I want to pickup a bunch fast after a heavy rain
They are already out of the ground and easy pickin, don't even need a red or green light.
But I don't use very many worms in a year anymore, red worms are my favorite trout and panfish bait anyway
