foxkidd44 OP trapper Joined: Jun 2007 Illinois	My uncle passed away today from complications from COPD. Was a heavy smoker,, smoked camel cigarettes. I know that everyone has a right to do what they want, and live however they choose,,,but his choice caused alot of broken hearts today. He was the last living uncle that I had. undercover trapper U Joined: Apr 2018 Missouri	God Bless! I lost my Dad to COPD. Caused by an addiction that eventually claims it's victim. Sad for everyone involved. You have my sympathy.

Ed Patrick trapper E Joined: Dec 2006 Pennsy	My dad smoked camel nonfilter 2 packs/day. He never got COPD because he got small cell lung cancer and died at age 39. Smoking is horrible for one's health and yes Foxx you said it - when they get sick and die everyone is effected. Sorry for your loss brother.

charles trapper C Joined: Aug 2010 Asheville, NC	Lost my dad to cigarettes and booze in 75. He never saw his grandkids. Wife's sister just died from the same two addictions. She was 64 and died a terrible, painful death. Left one son who is a drug addict. She established a trust for him to make his house payment, give him a little spending money, provide for his car and home expenses, and other incidentals. Alcohol and drugs ruin a lot of families and destroy the future of many of its victims. No family is immune.
