I'm surprised the conservatives didn't air that clip of Trump wanting Carney in instead of PP in their ads.

would say we have passed the point of no return as a country,,,,

Fake conservatives greatly outnumber actual conservatives

To many eastern Canadians are basically fiscally illiterate

Add in the amount of people that are actually employed by the government, aswell as the number of people that are dependent on the government

You guys are correct. I voted for Trump, but he hasn't yet learned when to keep quiet.

There are many people in both countries that are fiscally illiterate.

Unfortunate that things are sliding the wrong way.

Yes it is Trumps fault, but I am an Ontario senior who voted conservative and judging from the area around us so did many other seniors vote conservative. ridings north of the GTA are mostly blue. I think a lot of that is media hype.
We also have a provincial leader of the Green Party named Mike Schreiner who was born and raised in Kansas.
Kansas would you please take this whiner Schreiner back.

I find it hard to believe people voted one way or the other based on what Trump said. I also think he's doing a great job and is doing the hard things.

He certainly is making hard decisions that wouldn’t have happened if what’s her name got in. He’s upsetting most of the world, but we’ll see how this all plays out. I don’t think it’ll last long, but I guess you gotta give his plan a chance…….and I guess we gotta give Carney a chance too.

My guess in a month or so most of this tariff stuff will go away, but it will take a while to get agreements done. With the exception of China which needs a smackdown anyway.

He was not vote in to please the world, or Canada. He was voted in to put the USA first. When has any country gave a crap about the US other then using it as a piggy bank? 3/4s of the world organizations will fold up with out the US and its funding, and all we get is crapped on for our trouble. You can keep Carney, he is a liberal.

Uhhh, really? Thanks for your in-site on that. We’ll see how this’ll play out.
Carney, we can’t give him away can we? We have no choice but to give him a chance

Which Canadian is starting US political threads?

My take is every citizen of every country is usually proud of where they live. Maybe not happy with everything, but...

World leaders of any country shouldn't be saying they basically want to "buy" it's neighbor. Maybe there is some serious trade imbalance, let's hope it works out.

Boco hasn't posted lately, but he sure gets under some forum members skin at times.

He said he was tired of the same old thing from the same members who obviously don’t even trap.
They’ve been on other US sites but got their arse handed to them or just got the boot.
No matter the political topic, it always winds up the same, no intelligent dialog……from the same members that refuse to accept anything other than what they think is the way….lol

I wonder if he was tired of the fact he was often the biggest instigator on the site?

Hey dirt why don’t you post some facts about your Green Party,,, when you post for the most part I skip you’ve gibbrish. After all you live in the arm pit of Alaska. ( your own words)

Most of you Canadians may not want to hear this but your best option is to become American and fall under our constitution.. Alberta will be the first province to join, then Saskatchewan and logically BC will follow, and I would argue who wouldn’t want to be governed under a free people’s constitution…After all you haven’t earned it, your history is to bend a knee to the crown of England, not ours.. And in the the end of it all Trump will be right… hard words, I know..

Don’t hate on the messanger, you were warned.

When you get a divorce. The rebound relationship never works out

An independent/sovereign western Canada is the goal. Start fresh

The 51state thing will be used to torpedo the western Canadian sovereignty movement. Just like it was used in this recent election

That’s the opinion of people that don’t really understand Canada or Canadians.
Sounds like Alberta might have a referendum to test the waters, but it’s still extremely unlikely. And tossing BC into the mix?…..that’s laughable.

Becoming part of the United States has always been a silly idea. You folks up there will figure things out on your own. You don't need the U.S. adding to your problems, and we don't need you adding to ours.
