The ones I have are hard to set the eyes are an issue evidently. I thought I must not be setting them correctly but I’ve seen enough other posts on here cussing them I feel like it’s not just me. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I use a small grinder and level off the tabs on them. Not a perfect solution but makes them usable.

I prefer the 5 x 5 duke. Duke uses a 160 size spring on it's 5 x 5, Bridger a 110 size spring. And the ever present spring eye issue with small bridger BG's. X2

Take the bridger springs off and buy used 160 spring from the duke 160 that people sell that they took off to make single spring 160 for muskrats. And still grind off those nobs like shown. Basically do not buy the bridger conibears......jk

Basically do not buy the bridger conibears......jk Why not buy the Duke to start with? You don't have to replace the springs or grind down the nobs.

I don't have a Bridger 155. I have a 150.......I think it came free with a MTP order. It was worth what I paid for it. The Bridger 160 is an absolute hammer.......that won't work at all until you replace the trigger wire and clip with a Belisle.
What Bridger ought to do is contract with the folks that made BMI traps and rebrand those as Bridger. Do that and they could own the body grip market. What they offer now is scrap metal.
But until then, go with the Dukes.
