BTW, I learned long ago to avoid these kinds of debates. With the bible crowd there is no winning because you have to have "faith" and also believe that the bibles are the word of God. I believe in creation via the forces of nature which we can measure and know to be fact. For me Nature= God, one and the same. What is written in books is the word of man. Ultimately to gain control over the masses. How many observers of nature/scientists were executed by the Church(s) for fear of losing this control?

Sounds to me you want to "debate" so you can hone your arguments to better "prove" your belief system is the right one. You're young, you only know what you been taught, doesn't mean it's the same for everyone, or even right...a debate is to try and prove your point, but with an open mind you might be swayed by others points, but if your convinced your way is the only way it's not a debate, just an argument.

I am willing to listen to an evolutionist’s point of view. To be honest, I have grown up being taught Creation is true, but I’m not basing my belief on what I have been taught. I have read, looked, and studied on the subject for some time. But I am more than willing to hear the other side of the argument.

How many debates have you watched, most I've watched the person believed their side was the right side, a lot of their careers where based on their side of an issue.

My view is God created everything but used evolution as the tool to do it. Who are we to question the creator and his methods? Shame on those that do.

That's fair lumberjack. The insertion of "shame on those that do" might have been unnecessary, but I put it in there mainly because a lot of the faithful have been unrelenting in their attacks on people who do believe that evolution is the best explanation of "how we got here".
