Their argument is that it's healthier not to eat real meat. Instead, they eat plant-based meat. They ignore the chemicals added to plants to make them taste like meat.
As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

Next week bring turkey to work for lunch. Then say to the coworker who showed you the picture. "Thanks for letting me hunt, this turkey is pretty good." It's best to let the pic coworker know ahead of time what you're going to do. Ha!!!! That’ll get her ! This is what I would do^^^^^ But, what I learned from you're post is that you were once a vegetarian?

I like to explain beaver harvest to vegetarians that it like tending to their garden. "If you want to have nice carrots you gotta do some thinning."
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Wild turkey not all that good eating anyway. I would strongly disagree. Domestic is bland and tasteless and dry in comparison.

Swamp Wolf I was never vegetarian but probably an anti. In my late teens Or just a misinformed teen. I didn’t know any better. Wasn’t raised outdoorsy. No mentor. It’s amazing I’m where I am now. Only because I educated myself

Well, I’m sure glad you came around to it and educated yourself,
Now you can say you have seen both sides of the issue and have made your informed decision.

Believe me. I do it for a living…. Well, in my spare time when I’m not doing my full time job.
All you can do is give them the information and let them work it out on their own. You can’t force someone to learn that isn’t willing to learn.

Their argument is that it's healthier not to eat real meat. Instead, they eat plant-based meat. They ignore the chemicals added to plants to make them taste like meat. I've never understood their logic. They go way out of their way to make veggies taste like the very thing they are against. I have a niece that brought a bunch of tofu crap to a Thanksgiving dinner. Someone asked her what she brought, and she said, "meatless turkey."
