My wife and I have this generational issue. She’s 8 years younger than me and wants all her problems to be somebody else’s fault, and always claims I don’t get it and plays victim. I grew up in a series of logging camps, so that attitude definitely missed me. The only person who you can blame for anything or expect to fix anything is in the mirror

I tend to be the quick comeback kind of guy rather than go on offense.
The guy or gal who goes in on me first often regrets ever picking up the ball.
I had a young guy who was feeling his oats and said something about age in front of mixed company.
I quickly responded with, "Don't make me come over there and pull your pants down again."
As you would guess, the young fella shrivelled right up and spent the rest of his time there looking at his shoes.
