For the second time in my life I have witnessed the birthing of fawns. Last spring I watched triplets being born. Today I watched likely the same doe from last year giving birth to twin fawns. Our packing table has a window that is back against our side woods which is fairly thick cover. I noticed this doe acting odd so I kept an eye on her. In a 10 min period I saw her lay down and move positions a couple of times and all of a sudden she had the first fawn. Last time she was standing during delivery. Not this time. A few minutes later she dropped another.

The fawn in the background was birthed first about 10 mins. apart. The doe was grooming that fawn for some time. The closer fawn was minutes old, you can see it is still wet from the recent birth.

Our bottling gal was overwhelmed when I interruped her work and I told her to watch what was taking place. She most likely will never witness such an event again in her lifetime.

It’s amazing the things we see in the outdoors that others never get to experience that’s what makes it so special.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Not many get to witness that. I also was lucky to watch a muley give birth to twins. What an amazing thing to watch in nature.

Isn't that the truth.

That is really something. You'll never forget that and I'll bet that goes double for your bottling gal.

That's pretty cool ! I watched a pronghorn drop a calf in Idaho several years ago. Quite the experience
