The article hippie posted said the sbr and sbs part was removed, but there are efforts to get it added back on while it's in the Senate's hands.

They should be removing all those restrictions, it’s not constitutional. If our founding fathers could have comprehended tomahawk missiles and F-22’s, they’d want us to be able to have those as well. The whole idea of the 2A is it should be a fair fight if we the people decide to burn down our government

I hope it gets passed.

No good reason IMHO for them to be regulated.

Read some info that Silencer Central lobbied against this. If this is true...then no one should do business with them ever.

They did. They're whole current business model is as a one stop shop that handles all ATF paperwork for you, for a fee of course.

I bought another 22lr can for my birthday on May 3rd. It cleared on May 19. I figured they knew this was coming and didn’t want to refund my money for the stamp.

I'm thinking if it passes everything will be sold out for over a year. I'm planing on 2 to 3 more befor hunting season for the boys and this it may just be better to spend more and get be sure I can get what I want and not having them.sold out.

It would be easy to just build one. Prices will plummet.

I don't see any pro-gun bill passing the senate. It will require 60 votes and the Dems won't let it happen. It SHOULD pass, and maybe there are so many out there now that it will, but I don't think it has much of a chance. I would love for SBRs to come off the NFA also. That would put an end to the pistol brace issue completely. There is no justification based on criminal activity for SBRs to be regulated differently than any other firearm and no reason for suppressors to be regulated at all.

I'm thinking the senate will take it up under reconciliation, eliminating the dems filibuster and will only need a majority vote to pass.

Heard them talking about this last week.

I think that's the plan.
