The coolest thing about having a purple porch, is that in Texas, anyone who sets foot on your purple porch is fair game. It's a derivative of the purple post law.

I would think you will need to touch up more often, wear and tear ,dirt and sun dull quickly. Purple?

It isn't a color that I would have thought to use, but it does look good.

I'll bet it helps giving directions to your place…just look for the house with the purple porch!

The purple and white is a good combination. I like it and wouldn't of thought of that. My wife is a big teal color fan so that would probably have won out here if we had a porch.

No purple porch, but I've got 3 different purples on my gables.

Concrete front porch on my place. I live in a concord grape vineyard with thousands of acres in my area and have never seen a purple porch. Guess we see too many purple grapes.

I like it. Mine is just old log cut deck boards in front and back of log house. Not as pretty as yours.
