Anyone have experience with trying to collect on a truck warranty after installing a plow? Looking at buying a new truck but wondering how installing a plow might affect the warranty.

Anything the plow install impacts and/or modifies could be excluded from the warranty, including suspension and electronics. A lot depends on the dealer and their warranty representative.

Transmission is what I’d worry about. Trucks are designed to pull, not push

They all pretty much offer a snow plow prep package, any chance your truck has it?

The one I’m working on is snow ready….which is different than plow ready.

You can likely retain the warranty by having a certified upfitter install the plow,.probably best to just ask the dealer though.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
