Also raced motocross and boats, it's about the adrenaline, at 68, I don't race but I still enjoy fast bikes and boats for the thrill.

I worked for one of his car owners but it was almost 10 years after he got out of racing....John Regester.

John told me some stories about their time racing. He had an Edmonds sprint car shipped here from California by train, (1970ish? I forget exact year he said) won a pile of races with it. Alot of guys were still running 30x90's because a "sprint" was just allowed a year or so before.


There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Yes. Smokey Snellbaker. I was older when I finally met him. His Grandmother & my Grandfather were siblings. I loved to hear the starting lineup when it said "and starting on the poll in the Gary's Motor Mart Special from Avis, Pennsylvania, Smokey Snellbaker."
