It's gonna be 33" wide outside to outside and I need the side to be 35" long since I got 36" wide chicken wire and I want a little over lap. how the heck do I figure out the two angles I need to cut to make a nice flush deal . I want this thing to look semi nice . And the last 25min of 5 grade level geometry videos just ain't clicking .not super bright when I come to number lol....and my blue books is looking like Chinese right now

Looks like each angle should be 60 degrees.

I just lay out the end frame on the ground to the size I want and then mark it. Don't have to do any figuring that way.

Plenty of online calculators or old school lay out three boards marked to your measurements topside and mark the bottoms, connect the dots. Or the professional and longer way, break out the framing square and do the math.

Don’t worry so much about the angles. You can cut the sides to length. Just do 45 degree and be done with it. This is what I built a couple weeks ago for my next pullets.

Buy extra material for your mistakes.

After you make the mistake, then the next cut will be good. Hopefully you can use the messed up cut for another piece.

Exactly. Use easy angles. 45's. Or 30-60-90 triangle.

Use 2x2's not 2x4's, and leave the top one a little longer to use as a handle for moving it. Put some wheels on it too.

Why not make the bottom 35 inches too? Use your framing square instead of figuring degrees. 17 1/2 on each leg to get the angle. If your set on 33 and 35 use 16 1/2 for the bottom leg and 17 1/2 on the other. Lots easier to lay out the proper angle. The same way you lay out stairs or rafters.

Are you asking the angles of a three sided triangle? What are the dims of the three sides of the triangle? I only see two dimensions.

I'd make all three sides the same width, and use 60 degree angles.

Maybe thats what you meant. 33" deep across the bottom and then two sides with 35" for the chicken wire. It can be whatever length and close off the ends I guess is what you were thinking.

A guy like you needs some autocad my friend but hillbilly autocad would have been a 33" string or board layed out with two 35" strings or boards layed down to match what you want and then you just measure the angle or transfer the strings to the plywood end pieces.

Thats what I did in autocad but instead of laying out strings I drew lines instead and went back and measured the angle just like you could have on the floor. Easier to know everything is square / equal in cad I guess. Strings can be caddywhompus.

Hopefully that helps.

56+62+62=180 = checks out if thats the dims you meant.

All you need is a framing square. Its what they are for.

Not sure I'm understanding what y'all are saying with the strong or lay out deal honestly... But apparently my Lil calculation want too far off according to you cad deal

....not trying to cute such deep angles with a circular saw is smirk I keep watching and reading where you can just subtract the able you want by 90° the. Cut that angle then cut 90° across that edge and boom you have these steep bevel cuts ...but it's some kinda which craft I just can seem to figure out

Wife told me I was looking very annoyed and made me come in last night so gets it's time to try again lol
