Wife took me to see Mission Impossible. I wore my Walker ear protection over my hearing aids. Some improvement. I could control the volume of my aids with my cell phone.

Why are theaters so loud? I am certain all exceed safe levels. Who monitors them? Is it up to each city to track the dB levels? Once when we were the only patrons in a theater, I asked them to turn down the volume and they did.

… if things are too loud don’t go …. Got more than enough regulations already

If you went to a Nascar race would you ask them to use quieter engines?

My enjoyment should not be hindered because of your disability.

Noise at a race cannot be avoided. Damaging volume is a theater is intentional.

I also find the theater way to loud. Never understood stood that. And I'm hard of hearing

Like volume in theaters because I can’t hear very well. Did not like the movie. Seen them all and way to much going back and forth not one of the bests in my eyes.

He is wearing two devices to make make it so he can hear and complains about the volume. If the sun hurts your eyes when you look at it, don't look at it. If the volume in the theater is to high, don't ware stuff to magnify it.

I can't take the sound volume in movie theaters. I wear ear plugs on the rare occasion that I go to one.

Yep my hearing is bad 80% gone in the left ear. I don't like the noise level not only in movir theaters but many venues. I take ear plugs normally myself. I for some reasio. didn't think about the play I went to with my wife 3 weeks ago might be louds and didn't grab any. When my wife looked over a d saw me blocking.my ears she started to get up and leave. told her no im.fime and we stayed. Beyond my noise sensitive damaged ears since one is worse than the other I can't make out direction of sound and have trouble making out what's said.

So I missed 80%+ of all the jokes in the play.. But I don't mind that. Going to the play was about taking my wife out where she could get dressed up and have a good date she enjoyed. It had been a while since we had been to a play.

Hearing aids are programmed to amplify some frequencies and not others. I have difficulty understanding females who speak in a higher pitch. Walker just blunts loud noises. I was surprised that they worked together very well.

I also wear plugs at the movies. The place that makes my fitted plugs for shooting, etc also made me a fitted pair for movies/concerts. Just dampers the sound to safe levels but I can still enjoy the show.

And yes, movies are too dang loud.
