Whilst on another post I made,,, the 3 stooges were brought up. Any other of you guys 3 stooges fans? Who’s your favorite? And what is your favorite stooges short? For me it’s gotta be curly…I personally think that after shemp passed, the other 2 just didn’t have it.
My favorite short has got to be “ Disorder in the court” I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it… but dang it,,, it’s flipping funny!!

Disorder in the Court has to be at the top of their shorts. The best one with Shemp has to be, Brideless Groom where he as to marry within 48 hours to inherit $500,000 from a rich uncle. Malice in the Palace is another one of my favorites. I like Moe, Larry, Shemp, and Curly, but Curly made them famous, IMO.
Anybody ever watch Laurel & Hardy or the Bowery Boys? I have a complete collection of all the L&H films.
The first bottles of Coca Cola contained 3.5 grams of cocaine. That's how our grandparents were able to walk to school uphill both ways in the snow.
Some of these old B&Ws were just plain good clean fun like the Stooges, L&H, Bowery Boys. It seems now days funny seems to have to be innuendos that involve sex, foul language, etc for most people. Good clean fun isn't funny enough anymore. Sad.

I love this one. Love all the beautiful girls they are singing to. Women don’t look like that anymore. Classy ladies! And a catchy tune from the stooges!

Laruel and hardy had some extremely hilarious stuff. Flying deuces is my favorite!! The scene where Stan and Ollie are locked up in the brig, and Stan pulls the mattress off the bed and starts playing the bed springs like a harp!!
