Nancy, cutting meat at the meat market here in town,, and Yupper,, lots of benefits. It’s a long way from where I was a few years ago… I was told that I would need surgery and disabled and probably not be able to work again.
It’s a great thing when doctors are shown that the great physician himself knows far better than they do.
It’s a load off my mind. It’s just kinda weird, a new job at 55 years old…

Awesome! New job at 55 ain’t so weird. I almost quit two days ago after talking with my old supervisor…..which would’ve been stupid a few years before retirement. But he did convince me to up my trade ticket to 500kv work while the training was free at the utility. If a guy has ambition to work, the world wide opportunities are endless.

Congratulations on your new opportunity. Now go invest in a couple of good Kevlar gloves for your holding hand. You can thank me later.

I’m really liking it!! The owner is very nice and down to earth,,, hes extremely family oriented. Most places give lip service saying they are family oriented,, but are completely opposite,, this guy is adamant about it. It’s also closed on Sunday,,, he said that he will never be open on Sunday.
There are some procedures that he likes done that are a little different than what I’m used to,,, but he’s extremely patient and takes the time to show me how he likes it done.

It just feels good to be working!!

Sounds great. It's wonderful to hear about your success and improving situation. It's as important mentality for self worth as it is financially as a man. The mental part is often over looked or down played.

Keep after it and congratulations and making it happen.

Like said above if you’re willing to work theres endless jobs out there waiting for you, a lot of folks just want to get paid a lot for little work effort now it’s gotten worse over the years.

Good luck it a good skill to have.

Do they do wild game there?
