I have it several times. Will make you so sick you can't eat. Water and eating will make you puke. Got to sip it. Its a slow process.

Yes Pedialyte, Also those, Liquid IVs will help quickly, but they have a lot of sugar in them. I carry NaCl tablets in my truck at all times.

Being dehydrated due to heat and overwork is worse than a hangover X10.

Take those fluids and rest Vinke. The cramps may continue through the night.

Have you tried chewing on any toenail clippings? I think I read once they are sort of like beef jerky; they get softer the longer you keep them in your mouth.

You need to get your electrolytes back in you. Power aid , gator aid and plenty of water. If your stomach can’t handle it. Go slow and cool down in the ac. Magnesium and other vitamins will help you so you don’t get muscle cramps!! Happens all the time!! Not fun. Before you go out in the heat again, you need to hydrate the night before. And eat fruit. They help with the electrolytes So it won’t be too bad the next day!!

I just remembered! If you are taking medicine for anything. It can make you dehydrate faster!! Check your meds!

Gator nailed it, sodium potassium and magnesium are all used in muscle contraction and relaxation, when those are wonky you get muscle cramps. Drinking a bunch of water will only exacerbate these symptoms. When rehydrating folks with severe dehydration via oral rehydration I like to go with a pedialyte to water ratio, with the water having a sprinkle of salt in it. Take it slow or youll usually just throw it up.

To many electrolytes hurts you bad too. I saw a guy become like a goofy and then an angry drunk from drinking to much Gatorade after getting dehydrated. They had to take him by ambulance to a hospital. He had what was very similar to a diabetic fit.

Regular Gatorade has a good mount of sugar in it ..first 3 ingredients is water, sugar, dextrose.
