Officially, they are there to protect federal property, which is legal. They are not doing police work.

They are also tasked with protecting federal personnel, same as marines do at our embassies around the world. Embassies are considered sovereign American territory.

Eh...wot?

Here I though the do nothing approach was finally making headway it seems some prefer nothing being done over doing something about it, most Cali law enforcement is under Newscums thumb that would be more of the same they can’t be trusted.

We could go the Portland route and have rioters vs LEOs going on for months at time some of you guys have a problem for every solution it seems.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

A big wig in the LA police department was on TV this morning complaining about Trump's interference.

He said, "We have decades of experience dealing with protests."

I couldn't help thinking that , with that kind of experience, they ought to be much better at it than they are.

Eh...wot?

If they were as good as he thought they are this wouldn’t have even happened. LOL Sounds like a butt kisser that uses super glue. He’s not the guy dodging bricks on any day of the week.

Not sure if Federal troops are allow to even pull gaurd duty around non military installations?

Using our troops against illegal foreign invaders of our country, who are flying foreign flags, looting, destroying, assaulting Americans and burning American's property seems a great, necessary and legal use.

And they have absolutely no ability to deal with riots and looting, like this, as evidenced by tens of thousands of hours of video footage from the last few decades.

Amendment XXVIII
Section 1. In the event that one political party, acting through its elected or appointed officials, knowingly and willfully violates the laws of the United States or any State to create a problem or condition detrimental to the public welfare, the opposing political party, through its elected or appointed officials, shall be authorized to violate the same or similar laws to the extent necessary to remedy or mitigate the consequences of such initial violation, provided that such action is deemed essential by a two-thirds vote of both houses of Congress.
Section 2. Any action taken pursuant to Section 1 shall be subject to immediate judicial review by the Supreme Court of the United States, which shall determine within thirty days whether the initial violation occurred and whether the remedial action is proportionate and necessary. The Court’s decision shall be final and binding, and any official found to have acted without justification shall be subject to removal from office and prosecution under existing laws.
Section 3. This amendment shall not be construed to authorize violations of laws protecting fundamental rights as enumerated in the Constitution, nor shall it exempt any individual or party from accountability for actions that exceed the scope of remedying the initial violation. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Section 4. This amendment shall take effect one year after its ratification by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States.

The Founders were looking for a new beginning with a new country. These thugs are looking to destroy things and live off the rest of us. They are not the same.

If my choice was between having my head shaved, shackled and taken to El Salvador, and me just going back home in my country, I'd head on back home.

Referring to the Posse Comitatus act?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Does Posse Comitatus apply when foreign nationals are attacking Federal installations? Seems like that would be considered an attack on the Republic.
Eisenhower called up the National Guard to integrate a school in Little Rock in 1957 against the Democrat governor's objection. Wonder if that was considered a violation of posse comitatus?
