I retired in June 2009 so it is 16 years this month. For those of you retired for some time, did the years go by fast. It did for me, like a jet.

12 years for me been busy working on and adding to my bucket list as I go along busy everyday like a shark I just keep moving.

January 2021 for medical reasons not my choice just listening to doctors didnt retire under my own terms would have liked to work longer

13 yrs 2012 age 53.

Since last July 4th, went 6 years past when I could have, to put a bit more dollars in the retirement account

Now doing what ever I want and having the time to relax, except al those weird working shifts has messed up my
sleep clock, its been a real mess trying to just sleep at regular hour schedule !!

I retired January 2017 43 years of powerline work was enough but it’s amazing how fast time goes by now

I was tired yesterday and and retired today. ..so, 1 day.

My grandpa worked into his 80's, folks would ask him, "Fred, when are you going to retire?" He'd say "I retire every night!"

I retired from my Dow career the last day of 1998. I had a partime welding/fabrication consuting business for a few years until it got in the way of trapping & deer hunting. I also worked part-time for 3 years for Michigan State University as their mink trapper/jack-of-all-trades old geezer. The wife couldn’t stand to see me home as she continued to work so she retired that following July. We love being retired and time does fly by!

Retired at 57 on Nov.16th 2021, so a little over 3.5 yrs....Best thing I ever did!

Six years.

9 years retired mid fifties. Life is to short can't buy back time.

It has been 26 years, as I retired at 55 with 32 years with the state. Time sure flies by.

retired at 57yoa in 2003. I think it was just a few years ago. Of course I don't remember well.

I also retired in 2009 in January. Have done nothing but hunt, fish, and trap since. The old saying "Time flies when you're having fun" is very true.

Retired in 03, could trap year round did for awhile, raised and sold fish, ginseng and moved built a house. I guess you could say I just changed jobs!?

2 yrs June 30th. haven't had a bad day yet.
