If the politicians are not ignoring the law they are perverting it to get what they want through manipulation in the courts. It seems judges are suddenly interested in the rule of law also when just a few years ago they needed to be pushed into do anything no matter how illegal or bizarre an action was happening.

Not even close to the same thing going on here, but for you (or one of a few others in here) to make this comment is not surprising. SMH

Maybe you missed the first sentence of my post. I've bolded it for your ease of reading.

Really though they're not that different than the country's founders. The founders were treasonous rebels who hated their country and its rulers and laws and everything it stood for. These protesters are treasonous rebels who hate their country and it's rulers and laws and everything it stands for,

The only difference is that our countries founders won (the winners write the history books) and we agreed with their cause. These clowns will lose, and we don't agree with their cause.

If the founders had lost, and we were still british, we'd look back on them as miserable treasonous wretches who got what they deserved when deserved when we hung them from a tall tree.

Now that we have covered illegals have rights yet again, maybe we should check on the legality of using the military for domestic policing?

lol, yeah, also not allowed. They will only be allowed to support the law enforcement. Similar to when the navy helps with drug smuggling at the border. They have to have the coast guard or other police with them to do the actual law enforcement.

Officially, they are there to protect federal property, which is legal. They are not doing police work.

They are also tasked with protecting federal personnel, same as marines do at our embassies around the world. Embassies are considered sovereign American territory.

Eh...wot?

Here I though the do nothing approach was finally making headway it seems some prefer nothing being done over doing something about it, most Cali law enforcement is under Newscums thumb that would be more of the same they can’t be trusted.

We could go the Portland route and have rioters vs LEOs going on for months at time some of you guys have a problem for every solution it seems.

A big wig in the LA police department was on TV this morning complaining about Trump's interference.

He said, "We have decades of experience dealing with protests."

I couldn't help thinking that , with that kind of experience, they ought to be much better at it than they are.

Eh...wot?

Using our troops against illegal foreign invaders of our country, who are flying foreign flags, looting, destroying, assaulting Americans and burning American's property seems a great, necessary and legal use.

And they have absolutely no ability to deal with riots and looting, like this, as evidenced by tens of thousands of hours of video footage from the last few decades.

Amendment XXVIII
Section 1. In the event that one political party, acting through its elected or appointed officials, knowingly and willfully violates the laws of the United States or any State to create a problem or condition detrimental to the public welfare, the opposing political party, through its elected or appointed officials, shall be authorized to violate the same or similar laws to the extent necessary to remedy or mitigate the consequences of such initial violation, provided that such action is deemed essential by a two-thirds vote of both houses of Congress.
Section 2. Any action taken pursuant to Section 1 shall be subject to immediate judicial review by the Supreme Court of the United States, which shall determine within thirty days whether the initial violation occurred and whether the remedial action is proportionate and necessary. The Court’s decision shall be final and binding, and any official found to have acted without justification shall be subject to removal from office and prosecution under existing laws.
Section 3. This amendment shall not be construed to authorize violations of laws protecting fundamental rights as enumerated in the Constitution, nor shall it exempt any individual or party from accountability for actions that exceed the scope of remedying the initial violation. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Section 4. This amendment shall take effect one year after its ratification by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States.
