2 & 1/2 years for me. Retired at 65. Yes the time goes faster.

Retired from USAF 33 years ago - 1992
Retired from full time beaver trapping 3 years ago after 30 years - still doing part time

Retired on 1-31-23, 2 yrs, 5 mo. ago at age 66.

I started collecting SS benefits in December of '24 but I'm still farming and trapping with no end in sight for either. Like to keep eating.

I retire at 58 and now I'm 86

August 1, 2011, and I have loved every minute of it. And YES, it has gone by very fast.

2011, then back to work on the bay

Take it early if you can afford to. Don't chase the carrot on a stick. Each day is precious.

22 years, if I would have known it was this much fun I would have done it 3 years earlier. Time does most definitely fly.

8 years Now I just farm

2 1/2 years. Would have stayed longer but when they disrespected me with a penny an hour raise, it was time to leave! Other than a heart attack 3 weeks ago, I’ve stayed busy! Feeling good and it’s like I haven’t missed a beat! Everyone, please see your doctor regularly! It may just save your life!

I told my wife I'm not working past 80. She said, why would you want to retire, you're so healthy?
I told her, that's why I want to retire because I am healthy. I don't want to wait until I'm too sick and have to retire. I want to be able to enjoy retirement while I'm still healthy so I can still do the things I like to do like fishing, hunting, some trapping, etc. I retired about 2 years ago and wish I had done it even sooner. I'm finally getting things done I never had time to do in the past.

First time retired in 2010 (sold my ADC company) then in 2011 got a computer job (timeshare liquidations)and retired again 5 years ago at age 68. Hope to never retire from trapping.

2 January's ago. Best thing i ever did. Might not be where I should have been but don't care.
Still pinching myself.

I've done more in the last 3 years than i would have ever thought. Live it while you can!

Eight years of fun on my clock!

3 years in September. Busier now than when I was working. I'm an electrician. I average about 3 phone calls a week to do electrical work. I only do what I want. I like to say that now I have "veto power" over when I work.

I can't wait. New job will be to catch, kill and grow things.

5 years until partial. 2 more until full.
