If you didn't find out yet i'd keep camera where it is & mow or pull a spot of weeds where the light is, so you can see the whole critter. Keep us posted

If you change the sensitivity setting on the trail camera you might not have as many blank pictures. I did that once while trying to g to capture a picture of a fox eating our chickens and it worked great.

I slashed at most of the weeds with my pocketknife You can see much better now. This morning I looked and the squirrel carcass didn't look disturbed so I left the SD card in the trail cam. Tomorrow I'll let you know how it goes!

Mine is just a cheap Muddy... Unfortunately it doesn't have a sensitivity adjuster

Good luck! Maybe try a live trap? That way you will know for certain what is eating them.

Rake yourself out a patch of bare ground… put your bait in the middle…. Tracks will tell you what you got

… then sell the camera to a deer farmer
