Five gallon bucket. It holds enough that it takes some muscle to pick it up. Or maybe I'm just old.

I made stackable boxes out of pallet wood to store mine. Each box holds 30…I think, might be 50.

I drilled holes in the bottom so water could drain out when they were living in the back of my truck during trapping season.

Eh...wot?

Put them in 14 inch pvc pipe cut 16 inches high , cut out circular slabs of oak 1 1\2 inches thick screwed to the bottoms .
Can fit enough stakes in them that you can't pick em up .

Mine sit on a pallet outside when they aren’t in the ground.

They spend more time in the ground than on the pallet.

When I lived in town and only had a garage, I stored rebar stakes and longer rebar vertically between the studs, with one board going across a few inches below their tops and another board a few inches from the bottoms. It worked great. I built concrete walls and footers, for about 3 1/2 years, when I first started Marshal and had literal tons of rebar. On most job sites, we literally threw thousands of pounds of rebar away. I later gave most of the rebar I brought home away. I wish I kept a lot more of it.

I have a yard barn 24 feet by 12. I put all my long stakes in an above bay I made. The re-rods I put a 1 by 6 strip down one side all the way about 15 inches above the floor. With the 2 by 4 sides that gives me a ton a space to hold a couple hundred rebar stakes. I use pails when transporting to use.
