You are making me hungry Lugnut. Still working on scraping old paint off our back deck and making some bait this morning. After a few hours I will think about some food.

My granddaughter hangs out with me on weekends. When we're not trapping, fishing or hunting, we're cooking.

She'll be helping me prep roast beaver with sweet potato fries and homemade dipping sauce later this afternoon.

Eh...wot?

It's been ages since I've had pancakes. That's gonna change today, thanks to you.

Glad I could help Angela. grin

It’s my granddaughter‘s favorite breakfast. She whips up the batter, sometimes from scratch, and I fry them.

If it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t eat them very often.

In the winter, when we have leftover buckwheat from making scrapple, she makes buckwheat pancake batter, it’s pretty good.

Eh...wot?

Cereal. Both of yours looks a lot more appetizing. However, I hope your cholesterol is okay for that breakfast Nessy.

No, it’ll be at least another month before the blueberries are ripening up around here. These were store-bought blueberries.

Those blueberry pancakes look good especially if a blueberry syrup is added.

Pancakes are the best. What type of flour do you use. We like New Hope Mills.

Whatever All-Purpose flour the wife happens to have in the cupboard is what we use. The lower protein content makes lighter pancakes.
