New problem.

I need my bifocals to see the sights and the other part of the lens to see the target. Too much head movement, gonna have to send it back. I knew I should have just bought another guitar.

Can you put a peep site rear on it?
Would help immensely with the vision issue...or a small holo type sight...

Has a peep sight on it, big hole or little hole, it doesn’t matter. Shot 9 rounds of 3 groups each (27 shots). Only managed once to get all 3 in the circle. Shooting from the bench with sand bags.

Speaking of ammo, should enacted shells be ending up in close proximity of each other?

from a semi auto , if your stationary shooting at the same target the ejected rounds should land in an area about the size of a hula hoop they may bounce

when we test ammo , a good load will often make a pile that you could cover with a 5 gallon pail for 10 rounds.

the last round often ejects a little different because the way the next round isn't pushing up on it

wild ejection pattern can be signs of ammo with a large deviation

it might be time for an optic

another thing you can try is a diopter
https://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2012/07/diopter-devices-aid-old-eyes/

a friend who shot service rifle irons had one and claimed it made a big difference.

another friend's advice to pistol shooting with irons was figure out how long it is from eye to front sight, go get a pair of readers that let you see clearly at that distance , now you have a crisp front sight on a blurry target , just go for the middle of the blurry bullseye with your crisp sight

both of them were in their 50s at the time trying to figure out how to keep doing what they had enjoyed

my eyes haven't gotten there just yet
I also wear glasses and tell the eye doctor what I am looking for in shooting glasses. he made a few tweaks after I explained so far working good as long as I have the glasses on.

That’s a flag then. Parked the truck right next to the bench and most of them ended up in the bed but some went over it and 2-3 bounced off the side never made it in.

What you are trying to achieve is not possible even with fully functional 20-20 vision.
For accurate shooting, focus needs to be on the front site. It needs to be a sharp image. Once you have that, the target will always be fuzzy. Your job is to simply place the top of the front site post in the middle of the blurry target.
If you do that, and your rifle is capable of accuracy, your groups will tighten up.
