I went to Bismarck today so I swung by the Clover dale outlet store. I got a 24 lb case of cured and uncured bacon. 9 lbs of pepper bacon ends and pieces and 12 lbs of smokehouse summer sausage. It is in Mandan ND and on the west side just off the interstate about three miles. If you are going by it is worth the stop. They sell end and pieces and over run. I rank Cloverdale bacon as good as I can buy. The outlet store is on the end of their processing building.

It is hit and miss on what they have cheap, but they have some great deals. They do have great stuff, the bacon is $7 a pound in Minot.

send some bacon to Israel and Iran. They can throw it at each other. We'll all be safer.

Cloverdale at the local Thriftway is often on sale for 3.99 a lb. I pick through it looking for the meatiest ones and stock up.

3.99 is a good price and I would stock up too. Mine was $2.15 a pound including the summer sausage. I am saying if you are going through Mandan, it is worth the stop.

If you don't stop you are missing out. I buy what they have, even if I never tried it. I got some jalapeno the time before and there was no shortage of jalapeno in it. Some it you could say was hot.

Not much on jalapenos lol. I do like their range summer sausage. I stopped in there a few times last summer

If you are not big on jalapenos, I would shy away from the jalapeno bacon. Have you ever tried that Smokehouse Ranch summer sausage? I don't know if the ranch is ranch as in dressing or like a cattle ranch. But I will find out today. It is a one pounder and a little bigger around then most. They had cases of it.
