Finished off my banana cream pie- so tonight I ,coked up a d0uble batch of tapioca. Another hour it shouuld be cold enough to devour.

i understand tom. i fried 3 skillets of walleye fillets tonight. dont think nancys ever fried any fish. i still keep her around anyways though.

I only did cheese burgers tonight so my Nancy was happy, she isn't thrilled when I make bean surprise(4 cans pork and beans-1 1/2 pounds hamburger and 1 large onion}

thats similar to my nancys calico bean recipe. she uses several different kinds of beans, and add cut up bacon to your burger meat. good stuff.

I do a similar recipe but add 1 Lb. of diced venison dogs,1 cup parm cheese and 1 cup BBQ sauce. Let it cook till all is blended.

Made some burgers myself on the grill last night. That's the on!y place I can seem to cook. If I could make pies I would be a lot bigger than I am.

Pies and tapioca have really added to the size of my middle--but what a way to grow.

I've been cooking this since I was a kid, I always called it cowboy stew. It was the first meal I cooked for my wife before we were married. Just a couple crazy kids back then.

When I was a kid we could have anything we wanted for our families supper meal. I always asked for what became known as Tom's favorite-or now days--bean surprise,

I do love me some tapioca!

...especially when it forms that "skin" on top!
