Why do ICE agents wear face masks? Seems like any arresting officer would have to identify himself. Does the 4th Amendment address this?

I fully support the deportation of illegals as well as ICE operations. Just seems that in America a law enforcement officer shouldn't hide behind a mask.

I don't know the answer but when dealing with cartels it may be for the officers safety and secrecy so his family isn't in jeopardy.

I don't have a problem with facemasks. They get a lot of flack and want to go home to their family and not worry about bringing work home (as in having lefty clowns show up at their door step).

As far as identifying themselves, yeah of course they gotta identify themselves. If dudes jump out of a van and start grabbing someone, and don't identify themselves as police/ICE, and then that someone defends themselves, well.......

Facemasks are being used to try to prevent public identification and airing of officers names, home addresses and family members. Officers have been doxxed and family members have been threatened. Many of these illegals are cartel members and/or cartel linked.

This. It is to protect their families and others close to them. I can't remember where, but I read about a case of threats to a family member of an ICE agent.

there is ample documentation available (if required by the "Just Us" system) of exactly which officers took part in a given operation (time sheets, log books, evidence logs, etc.)

this beef is just another lame attempt by Lefties to cloud the issue. (they never had a problem with rioters wearing masks, did they???)

The Democrats are already doxxing Law Enforcement what about their rights and protection.

We don't live in a perfect world. Keep them safe and let them do their jobs.
