I have two of these for years now. One in my boat and one for ice fishing. Simple to use and have never broken down. I'm am very tech challenged and I've had no problems. As with anything modern you have to download directions for the unit. I just went to one of the copy warehouse places at a plaza and had them do it for me. It also has built in GPS.

That ain't the same as the newer ones. Yours has half as many buttons and they appear to make sense.
