I have personally had great success with them. Very few toe catches but even then seems to hold them nicely. Springs are definetly stout but manageable.

I started to wonder about spring strength being a liability regarding animal loss. Caught a 66lber in a CDR. The bite HARD. No need for a 4 coil IMHO. Good thing it drowned quick or I coulda lost big blackie…

No complaints here, the only beaver foot hold I own now and I don't feel like I'm missing out Five hundred a month extra,,,,, you got money to experiment.

I don’t have any of the coyote traps, but I do own a few beaver extremes and I can tell you this,, I wish I owned more of them
