Anyone at the PA convention mess with these prototypes? Kendall and Kurt are coming out with a dogless square jaw 1.5 modeled after the xtreme and jr traps. Inside spread of 4.5 x4.5 inches.

They will have it at Harrisonburg next month at the NTA convention. Rumor is its awesome

If it's the same design as the others he sells it should be great. And fill the niche.

They said it tested really well. I wonder if it was field tested yet? But it does indeed look like it could be an awesome fox sized land trap. Ill be at Harrisonburg and def will be checking it out and giving it some serious thought

I stopped checked it out. Chatted with Kendall for a while he’s got a lot of great stuff in the works and is by far one top notch guy who builds a quality line of traps. After setting and playing with the two prototypes he had at his table it for sure is a solid trap and will be a great trap to the collection. So I did the smart thing and put my name down in the book for a few dozen haha!

What is the niche for a square jawed 1.5 that a round jawed 1.5 or a 1.75 isn't already filling?

The niche is Man's need to improve, tinker with invent something new and different Whether its guns traps trucks phones etc For better or worse its what makes the USA stand out

When will this trap hit the market?

I like the ability for the trapper to change out jaws with the NO BS traps if necessary ( due to damage or just switching out jaws for special situations).

I'd assume tooling up to stamp out new model traps parts is sorta costly.

My question is will this make a good coon trap, fox trap, mink trap??? Better than the NoBS 1.5 round jawed trap?

I like square jaw traps simply because there's square inches inside a square jaw versus a round jaw
A square jaw also has more maximum jaw width than a round jaw
And my hand fits better around a square jaw when bedding
